Booking Terms


These terms and conditions apply to all bookings made to stay at Cherrybrook Self Catering, whether made via our website, by email or over the telephone. They contain important information about your stay and we kindly ask that you read these carefully. If there is anything you would like to discuss regarding your booking or these terms and conditions, please don’t hesitate to contact us.


All prices are fully inclusive of:

  • Oil central heating, electricity, fuel supplied for the wood burning pellet stove.
  • Bed linen and towels are supplied free of charge although you may wish to bring your own beach towels.
  • Tea/coffee, washing liquid, loo roll are supplied for your initial stay.
  • Wifi connection.

The stated number of people for each cottage must not be exceeded.

Booking Confirmation.

When you submit a booking via our online reservation system you will receive an automatically generated booking summary by email to the email address you provide in the booking form. This does not form a contract between us. A contract shall only arise when your booking is subsequently confirmed in writing via a letter of confirmation sent to you by post or email.


A deposit of £100 per week is required to confirm a booking, the remainder payable on arrival.


In the event of cancellation the deposit will not be returned. If we have to cancel, we would refund all monies paid by you. Our liability would not extend beyond this refund.


We strongly recommend that you take out holiday cancellation insurance at the time of booking the holiday so you are covered with immediate effect for all eventualities, including cancellation and delays, medical expenses and loss of luggage.

Arrival & Departure.

Booking start days are normally flexible depending on availability. Occupation is from 4pm on day of arrival and property must be vacated by 11am on day of departure.


Accidents can happen, but you are responsible for the property during your stay. Please let us know about any damage or breakages and we will try to sort it out at least cost or inconvenience to you.

Care of Property.

We ask you to leave the property in a clean condition.

No Smoking Policy.

Apple Cottage and Apple Barn carry a No Smoking Policy inside the property.


Young children and infants are welcome. Travel cot & high chair are available upon request. You must accept responsibility for the safety of your children. Guests are reminded to ensure that children do not climb over the fences without supervision.


Pets are not permitted into the bedrooms. Dogs are welcome outside, but inside Apple Cottage only by arrangement.

Non Availability of Accommodation.

We would only cancel your holiday if your accommodation was unavailable for reasons beyond our control. We would attempt to offer you alternative accommodation, however if this was not possible, or unacceptable to you, then we would refund all monies paid by you for the holiday. Our liability would not extend beyond this refund.

Right to Entry.

We may request entry, at reasonable times, to the premises for the purpose of leaving in fresh linen, inspection or to carry out maintenance.


We make every effort to ensure that the information on our website are accurate. We do however reserve the right to make small changes and we accept no liabilities for minor inaccuracies.


We do not accept any liability for any damage, loss or injury to any member of your party or any vehicles or possessions, unless proven to be caused by a negligent act by ourselves or our employees or contractors whilst acting in the course of employment.


Any data collected during the course of this booking may be kept on computer.


This contract shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Northern Ireland and any disputes arising between us shall be subject to the non exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Northern Ireland.
